Description:

This is a fine example of a British MK V STEN machine gun that was manufactured using a newly made receiver (tube) from the Charles Erb Company, with some original World War II British/Canadian STEN components along with the new receiver tube. This model used a fixed walnut buttstock with butt trap, a walnut rear pistol grip and a front walnut vertical foregrip. This model also featured a Number 4 Lee-Enfield pattern front sight and muzzle configuration so that a British bayonet could be attached. The underside of the magazine well was originally stamped with "Mk V/146830" and top is stamped with "R.F.I./FR M/78/1963". Some of the parts have both British and Canadian proof marks. The new receiver tube is numbered on the left rear side with "E753/9mm" followed by the Charles Erb Bullet Logo. It comes with one 30-round STEN magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as remanufactured, with 98% of the parkerized finish overall showing only minor edge wear. The rear pistol grip which has a two inch stress crack on the left side, and the wood components are otherwise very fine. Mechanically excellent. The STENs are one of the most iconic World War II SMGs on the market. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
