A predecessor of the Roth-Steyr pistol, the Roth-Sauer is built around a long recoil action, similar clip-loaded internal magazine in the grip, and utilizing the proprietary 7.65 mm Roth ammunition. Fixed blade and notch sights, the Sauer address on the top rib, "PATENT-/ROTH." on the frame above the chamber and the Sauer logo at the rear. Fitted with a knurled cocking knob, smooth trigger, and checkered grips with raised Sauer logos. Included with the lot is a relined black leatherette case, cleaning rod, and a stripper clip loaded with six (mixed) live rounds and one empty and deprimed casing.

Very fine, 90% professionally restored high polish blue finish, with some spots of gray patina on the frontstrap, minor tool marks on the rear edge of the sideplate, and light handling marks. The grips are fine as shrunken/undersized, with minor dings and edge chips. Mechanically fine. Case and accessories are very good.
