Built with blued steel demiblock barrels featuring a single bead sight on the hand filed flat vent rib with a gold inlaid "1" at the breech, scroll engraving around the breech, importer's mark to the right of the upper chamber, 1974 dated Spanish proof marks, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the silver plated hand detachable sidelock action with flush lift-up latch, intercepting sears, and double Kersten crossbolts which displays full coverage relief engraved scrollwork over a blackened background creating a highly attractive contrast and surrounding "AGUIRRE Y ARANZABAL - EIBAR" in a banner on the underside before spilling onto the toplever, triggerguard, and both tangs, which are also silver plated. The gun features gold centerlined cocking indicators, a single selective trigger, gold plated lock parts, and a tang mounted manual safety with gold inlaid "S" indicator. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered three-piece forend with engraved forend iron as well as a pistol grip stock with Shelhamer chinstrap, "DRS" cut in the gold inscription oval, and a checkered bare butt. Included is a second matching 26 inch 12 gauge barrel set with a gold "2" on the rib as well as a leather maker's takedown case and extra springs. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and silver finishes with scattered minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set is also excellent, and the case is very fine.
