Manufactured circa 1943-44, this Model 64 has the standard markings and features with the Canadian broad arrow inside a "C" proof mark on the right side of the buttstock. The barrel has been shortened to it's present length. The front sight is secured on a band and a sling swivel has been added on the buttstock, otherwise all features are standard.

Very good as modified. The barrel retains half of the faded original finish. Other than the muzzle area which has had a non-factory ramp sight installed. The receiver retains approximately 60% original thinning finish with edge wear and some smooth gray patina. The buttplate has a brownish patina with some slight spotting. The wood is very good with overall scattered minor scuffs, dings and scratches. All markings are clear. The action is excellent.
