Manufactured in 1904. Standard markings and features throughout. Nickel steel barrel. U.S. marked to the left of the proofmark on top of the action and an unrecognized marking on the right side. Saddle ring and stud on the left side of the receiver, plain forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Good. All metal surfaces have a dark patina with moderate pitting on the barrel and some minor pitting on the receiver. The buttplate has been cleaned to a smooth gray patina. The wood is good. There are some chips around the buttplate tang and one on the left side of the upper tang and the stock has shrunk a little around the tangs. There are two small holes drilled into the underside of the stock, possibly where a sling swivel was mounted at one time. There is a minor dent on the toe of the buttplate. Markings are clear. The action is fine.
