Description:

Manufactured in 1890, this is a Third Model with the dust cover that operates on the central guide rail integrally machined as part of the receiver. Fixed blade front sight with adjustable rear buckhorn sight. The top of the barrel is marked "WINCHESTER'S- REPEATING - ARMS. NEW HAVEN CT. / KING'S - IMPROVEMENT - PATENTED MARCH 29. 1866. OCTOBER 16. 1860." "32 W.C.F." marked on the breech end of the barrel and on the brass carrier. Serial number on the lower tang and the model designation on the upper tang. Plain forearm with a iron forend cap and straight grip stock with a iron crescent buttplate without compartment.

Rating Definition:

Good. All metal parts have a smooth dark patina with some minor dings on the barrel and some light pitting on the receiver. The wood is very good with overall scattered minor dings and scratches. The caliber marking on the carrier is weak, otherwise all markings are clear. The action is fine
