Originally manufactured in 1903, this rifle has been beautifully restored, custom engraved and the stock custom carved. The barrel and button magazine are blue; the remaining parts casehardened. The forend cap and buttplate tang are lightly scroll engraved with a gold inlaid wire accent on each side. The sides of the receiver are nicely floral scroll engraved with a gold inlaid wire border, gold inlaid vine and six leafs. The forward portion of the lever has the same engraving pattern. The forearm and wrist have been beautifully, deeply carved in oak leafs and acorns. A scroll pattern with a matte background and simple bordering by the forend cap and buttplate. The remainder of the stock has a high gloss finish. Blade front sight with brass bead, two folding leaf rear sight and standard markings. The consignor reports that this rifle was restored by Ken Eyster.

Near mint as professionally custom engraved and carved with all the current finish remaining. There is a very small area of finished over pitting just behind the rear sight, otherwise only the slightest handling marks. The wood has been embellished to near mint with the slightest handling marks.
