Manufactured in 1895, this rifle was subsequently custom embellished with the checkered forearm and pistol grip stock. The rifle also has features that include a folding Beech front globe sight, two folding leaf rear sight, 26 inch barrel and double set triggers. The barrel, half magazine and triggers are blue and the remaining metal parts are casehardened. The muzzle has a single gold inlaid wire band and there are two gold wire bands at the breech as well as simple engraving. The sides of the receiver are scroll engraved with gold wire bordering. The left side of the receiver also has a wooded scene with two gold inlaid deer and there is a gold inlaid moose on the right side in a wooded scene. The sides of the hammer, trigger loop, forend cap, buttplate tang and upper tang have a gold inlaid wire border. The forearm and pistol grip stock are fancy walnut with factory checkering, hard rubber grip cap and steel crescent buttplate.

Custom embellished to near mint with only a couple of very minor dings on the buttstock.
