Originally manufactured in 1928, this rifle has been beautifully custom engraved and has had the stock custom carved. The barrel and half magazine are blue and the remaining parts casehardened. The forend cap is lightly scroll engraved with a gold inlaid wire accent on each side. The sides of the receiver are partially floral scroll engraved with a gold inlaid wire border and gold inlaid vine and five leafs. The forward portion of the lever has the same engraving pattern. The forearm and wrist have been nicely carved in a scroll pattern with a matte background and simple bordering. The remainder of the stock has a high gloss finish. Blade front sight with brass bead and adjustable rear sight and standard markings. The stock is fitted with a serrated steel buttplate. The consignor reports that this rifle was embellished by Ken Eyster.

Custom embellished with 99% of the current finish remaining. There is a small area around the upper receiver screw of spotting and some pin prick type pitting on the receiver that has been finished over, otherwise only the slightest overall handling marks.
