Originally manufactured in 1899, this rifle has been beautifully restored, custom engraved and has had the stock custom carved. The barrel and full magazine are blue and the remaining parts casehardened. The forend cap, buttplate tang and receiver ring are lightly scroll engraved with a gold inlaid wire accent on each side. The sides of the receiver are nicely floral scroll engraved with a gold inlaid wire border and a matte background. The forward portion of the lever has the same engraving pattern. The forearm and wrist have been beautifully carved in a floral scroll pattern with a matte background and simple bordering. The remainder of the stock has a high gloss finish. Blade front sight and two folding leaf rear sight and standard markings.

Near mint as professionally custom engraved and carved. Nearly all the current finish remains. There is some minor pitting along the side barrel flats that has been finished over, otherwise there are no other marks. Mechanically fine. The wood shows only slight handling marks.
