Manufactured from 1894 to 1935, this model is similar to the Model 1893 with a shorter action. German silver blade front sight and semi-buckhorn elevator adjustable rear sight on barrel with standard two line address and patent markings on the top flat along with the caliber markings. Rifle has full magazine with casehardened receiver, lever, hammer, bolt and buttplate the upper tang marked "MARLIN/ MODEL '94." Smooth forearm with a blued iron cap and straight grip stock with an iron buttplate.

Very good plus, 40% of the original blue finish showing some fading to a mottled brown patina, concentrated on the magazine, along with some smooth edge wear and a few light dings. The casehardening colors are silvered out with bright color in the protected areas. The stock is fine with some varnish loss, mild dents and scratches. The action is excellent.
