Made in 1903. Fitted with a white bead dovetail blade front sight in a raised block, a block in the rear sight dovetail slot and a Lyman adjustable peep sight on the left side of the receiver. The left side of the scalloped receiver is marked with the two-line Winchester address and patent dates. The lower receiver tang is marked with the serial number and the upper tang has the "WINCHESTER/ MODEL 1895" marking. Smooth straight grip stock with ebony insert Schnabel tip forearm and crescent steel buttplate.

Very good with 30% of the faded original blue finish. A dark brown patina is forming on the top of the receiver, light mottled brown on the lever, bright silver on the magazine and a mottled gray on the barrel along with some smooth edge wear and light handling marks overall. The stock is very good with some darkening around the metal, mild varnish wear and some pressure dents. The action is excellent.
