Produced between 1950 and 1953, with the pinned barrel and 5-screw frame. Ramp front and notch rear sights, standard markings, and serrated flat cylinder latch. The red two-piece box has a blue on white label on one end, and is hand numbered to the gun. The walnut grips have silver S&W medallions and diamond patterns around the screw. The hammer and trigger are casehardened.

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, with smooth edge wear, minor spotting, and light handling marks. Grips are very good, with light scratches and pressure dents. Excellent action. Box is good, with some taping and scuffing.
