Produced between 1969 and 1982, with the 3-screw frame, the early style pinned barrel, and factory Class "C" engraving. Serrated ramp front sight and square notch rear sight, with scrollwork around the barrel markings and S&W logo, between the cylinder flutes, ahead of the cylinder, and on the sideplate, triggerguard, and backstrap. Smooth walnut grips with Smith & Wesson medallions in the tops. Complete with papers and the original S&W blue box numbered to gun and marked "R022 Class C" on the label.
