This is an excellent example of a later High Power semi-automatic rifle as manufactured by the Winchester Arms Company in 1954. These rifles were intended to be a fast handling semi-automatic rifle firing a high powered cartridge and were the favorites of many state and local police agencies. This Model 07 is an improvement over the Model 1905. The barrel is marked "MADE IN NEW HAVEN; CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA/ WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL, WINCHESTER/ TRADE MARK - MODEL 07,- 351CAL." It has a blade front sight and adjustable semi Buck horn rear sight. The top rear of the barrel and top front of the receiver have the circled "WP" Winchester proofmarks. It is fitted with the standard smooth walnut pistol grip stock and smooth forearm with a checkered metal buttplate and sling swivels. This model was manufactured from 1907 to 1957 with about 59,000 produced. It is complete with original two piece Winchester box numbered to gun with a brown leather sling. Magazine missing.

Near new in the box as unassembled with only slight handling marks overall. The stock is good with several minor scratches and nicks in the right side varnish grip. The box is good. The lid has a couple of minor tears and a broken corner. The sling is very good.
