This is one of the current M1 Garand's rifles introduced in 2002 being produced by Springfield Armory of Geneseo Ill. The rifle features a new production M1 Garand receiver, barrel, walnut stock and all other parts are U.S. GI mil-spec. The receiver is marked "U.S. RIFLE/CAL 30 M1/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/ serial number" and the barrel is marked "SPRINGFIELD GENESEO 30-06". Complete with original box numbered to the gun, Springfield Armory "Shot Lock" padlock and papers.

Near new in the box with only light handling marks.
