Deluxe Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Takedown Rifle

Manufactured in 1897. Standard two line top barrel flat address with restamped "30 W.C.F." at the breech. Left barrel flat has the smokeless powder marking, upper tang is marked with the three line model designation/patent date, and serial number on the frame underside. Combination beach front sight, three leaf rear sight and full length magazine. Mounted on a varnished deluxe walnut checkered forearm and checkered pistol grip stock with a Winchester plastic grip cap and a crescent buttplate.

ConditionGood as restamped (serial number and caliber marking). The magazine tube and barrel retain approximately 75% of the original blue finish with gray patina on the high edges and smooth gray patina at the breech. The frame retains approximately 80% of the blue with smooth gray patina on the high edges and some minor spotting and scratches. The buttplate and receiver takedown ring have a smooth gray patina. The hammer and lever retain traces of the faded case colors with the balance a mottled gray patina. The revarnished wood has some light handling marks and a few minor dings. The checkering is crisp.
