Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine

Manufactured in 1925. The barrel is marked with the standard one line model designation/caliber marking and is fitted with a square base pinned front sight with bead and a sporting leaf rear sight. Full length magazine tube, single barrel band, magazine retaining band and Lyman tang peep sight. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with carbine buttplate.

ConditionFine. The barrel and magazine tube retain approximately 70% of the faded original blue finish mixed with the beginnings of a brown patina strongest on the barrel near the muzzle. The tangs have heavy amounts blue mixed with the beginnings of a brown patina. The rest of the frame has traces of blue mixed with brown patina in the low areas, overall has a smooth gray patina. The lever, barrel band and buttplate have a smooth gray patina mixed with traces of brown patina. There is a moderate gouge on the forearm, otherwise the wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
