Description:

Thorp, noted author, furnished the design for this blade, and it is considered a highly authentic rendering of the classic Bowie. Blade is 13" long, with a 5 3/4" black clip, 1 3/5" wide and 1/4" thick at the base, with standard two line scimitar-flanked makers mark on the left side. Heavy brass crossguard, with upturned dual quillions, serrated brass pommel, and a smooth ivory grip with inscription panel. With a properly marked Randall sheath with sharpening stone.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with a small dark spot on the left side of the blade, mended age cracks in the grip, mixed brass patina and minor verdigris buildup.
