This slide action Model 12 shotgun was manufactured in 1947 and is from the collection of Roy Rogers, famous cowboy star, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity stating that this shotgun was the personal property of Roy Rogers and was most recently displayed in the Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Museum in Branson Missouri. The certificate is dated 2/25/09 and signed by Roy Rogers Jr. This standard grade Model 12 features a modified choke and 2 3/4 inch chamber with standard two line markings on the barrel. A "CUTS" Compensator has been installed on the 22 inch barrel giving an overall barrel length with the compensator of 25 1/2 inches. The pistol grip buttstock features a "HOLLYWOOD TENNIS AND GOLF" recoil pad. Length of pull approximately 13 1/2".

Excellent. The shotgun retains 95% original finish with some minor thinning on the left side of the receiver, high edge wear and overall a few minor dings and handling marks. The wood is good as revarnished with a minor chip on the left edge of the grip, a long scratch through the varnish on the left side stock as well as a few minor scratches and overall minor handling marks. Markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically fine.
