Description:

Manufactured in 1922. Pinned blade front sight with bead, sporting leaf rear sight, full length magazine tube and saddle ring stud with ring on the left side of the receiver. Standard two line left barrel side address/patent date marking following by the two line smokeless powder and caliber markings. The upper tang is stamped with the three line model/trademark. Mounted on a plain straight grip stock and forearm with carbine buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel and magazine tube retain approximately 65% of the original blue finish with some minor pitting, light brown patina forming on the magazine and darker patina forming on the barrel. The receiver retains approximately 60% of the blue with much scattered light surface spotting and the forming of a smooth gray patina. The lever has a smooth brown patina and the buttplate is bright. There are some minor gouges on the forearm, otherwise with wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
