Unopened (partially split on top left) 50 count box of Winchester Model 1873 rifle .44 caliber cartridges. Box top has correct green label and is printed with the number of cartridges (50), the type of cartridge and Winchester New Haven address. A long side has a illustration of the Model 1873 with company name and cartridge information on the remaining sides (this particular box does not have the cartridge illustration on a short side). A long side is period pencil marked "1 of 400"

Very fine. The label has some mild wear. There is separation of a top edge on a short side, otherwise the box remains sealed. Printing and color are clear and vivid.
