The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) was a fraternal organization composed of veterans of the Union Army who had served in the American Civil War and this lot includes various reunion souvenirs from the GAR that include: Vermont 20th encampment ribbon (red); Rhode Island 22nd encampment ribbon (yellow with tassel); Massachusetts Post 15 ribbon (blue); New Jersey ribbon (blue); Vermont ribbon (green); GAR veteran medal; Massachusetts medal; New Jersey 25th encampment (blue); Naval veterans dated 1888 ribbon (blue); GAR representative medal (40th encampment) with partial yellow ribbon; "WASHINGTON" marked pin (missing yellow ribbon); 22nd encampment ribbon (red and blue); GAR representative pin; Illinois W.R.C. 1888 medal; 35th annual Committee Free Quarters medal; 1907 encampment metal with ribbon; GAR Milwaukee representative 57th encampment ladder badge; Kentucky GAR medal; GAR representative 56th encampment medal; Pennsylvania delegate 1888 medal; Iowa First Corps 22nd encampment ribbon; Reception to Logan ribbon; and GAR Massachusetts representative dated 1924 ladder badge.

Unless noted above, all medals and ribbons are very good to very fine with mild to minor discoloration on the ribbons and some light fraying. The medals/badges have a pleasant aged patina.
