Seven and 3/4" long single edge blade with a spear point and .15" thick spine. The left ricasso is faintly marked "mcELROY/ CON G". Brass dual quillion crossguard and buttcap, with a smooth round hardwood grip. Notes provided by the consignor state that this is a Civil War-era weapon.
