Description:

1) 20" x 30" poster by Walther Whitehead, circa 1918. Text reads, "Come / On!" at the top and "buy more / LIBERTY BONDS" at the bottom. Makers marks near the bottom edge. Colored graphic of a wounded American soldier over a dead German soldier. 2) 20" x 30", artist unknown. Text reads, "BUY A / LIBERTY / BOND / OF THE U.S. GOVERNMENT" at the top and "AND WEAR THIS BUTTON-- / IT IS A BADGE OF HONOR" at the bottom. Color image of a Liberty Bond button an the Statue of Liberty. Marked "No. 10" and Edwards and Deutsh address near the bottom edge. 3) 20" x 30", by Dewey. Text reads, "Our Daddy is fighting / at the Front for You-- / Back him up-- Buy a / United States Gov't Bond of the / 2nd LIBERTY LOAN / of 1917". Image is of a boy and girl with a small American flag. T.F. Moore address is present. 4) 30" x 40", by Alfred Everitt Orr, circa 1918. Text reads, "For Home and Country" at the top and "VICTORY LIBERTY LOAN" at the bottom. The colored graphic image is a soldier holding a small boy while he is embraced by a woman.

Rating Definition:

All show some minor tears, and 2-4 show rippling and creases. 1) Near excellent, with a mild rip along the top and bottom and a crease in the top right. 2) Good, with some stains and limited paper loss. 3) Very good, with limited paper loss. 4) About good. Some minor wrinkles, some paper loss, and the top and bottom edges folded over. There are some minor stains, but the colors remain vivid and bright.
