This is the Model of 1905, 4th Change which was produced between 1915 and 1942. Revolver features a blade front sight and square notch rear sight. Marked "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel, " 38 S&W SPECIAL CTG" on the right side of the barrel, the two line address and patent dates are on top of barrel and the Smith & Wesson trademark on the right frame. Casehardened trigger and hammer and checkered grips with diamond pattern around the screw hole. Complete with the correct two piece gold box.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% original finish with loss limited to wear on the ejector rod. There is a very faint drag line and a very small area of light spotting on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger retain all of the original bright, vivid case colors. The grips are excellent with a few minor dings along the bottom edge, light handling marks and sharp checkering. The box is very good with some minor scuffing and edge wear.
