Converted from .22 to .224 Harvey Kay - Chuk with a front ramp sight solid rib with a square notch adjustable rear sight. Standard markings with the addition of "HARVEY .224 KAY - CHUK" on the right above the original factory .22 long rifle markings. The hammer and serrated trigger are case hardened and the backstrap is serrated. The wood grips are checkered and feature a Smith & Wesson medallion on each side with a diamond pattern around the retaining screw. Only about 300 of these revolvers were converted to this caliber.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The revolver retains approximately 90% of the original blue finish with some thinning overall being more prevalent at the muzzle frame and cylinder. The cylinder has a mix of the original blue with a brown patina. The hammer and trigger shows strong traces of faded original case colors with the balance a smooth gray. There is some minor pitting on the upper left side of the trigger. The grips are very good with some light handling marks and a small chip on the lower right edge and a few following the backstrap leaving a small gap in some areas. The checkering is crisp. RIA strongly recommends that this revolver be checked by a qualified gunsmith before firing due to the caliber change. Mechanically excellent.
