Description:

This is a standard WWI 1915 dated DWM luger that was remarked after the signing of the Versailles treaty. The top of the chamber area has the 1920/1915 markings, and it has the DWM markings on the toggle assembly. It has the standard WWI Crown over a script letter proofs on the right side of the barrel extension with, the extractor and safety marked GESICHERT and GELADEN. It is fitted with wooden grips and a single magazine that has the later WWII aluminum base magazine.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal reworked with approximately 75% of the faded blued finish remaining with wear and grinding marks on the front grip strap where the unit markings were removed, with thinning on the edges and high spots with more wear on the left side of the muzzle, side plate hump and front edges of the frame rails. Approximately 10% of the straw colors remain on the small parts. The grips are in very good condition showing minor wear and some flattening across the tops of the diamonds. The magazine is from a WWII luger that has been remembered to match gun.
