Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine

Manufactured in 1916. Pinned blade front sight, sporting leaf rear sight, full length magazine tube and saddle ring stud with ring mounted on the left side of the receiver. Standard two line left barrel side address/patent date marking following by the two line nickel steel and caliber markings. The upper tang is stamped with the three line model/trademark. Mounted on a plain straight grip stock and forearm with carbine buttplate.

ConditionVery good. The barrel and magazine tube retain approximately 40% of the blue (strongest on the magazine) mixed with a smooth gray patina and the beginnings of a brown patina. The rest of the metal surfaces have a smooth brown-gray patina with strong traces of blue on the barrel bands and lower tang. The otherwise fine lightly sanded and revarnished wood has some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
