Operating from 1946 through 1997, the Nevada Club of Reno, Nevada was one of the earliest casinos established in the state, and one of the few to resist the transition to full electronic machines. This example, built by Jennings, measures 27 1/2" tall, 14 3/4" wide and 17" deep, with solid wood side panels, dark varnished with Jennings seals, black painted rear cover, and shiny chrome front. Immediately below the coin slot is a backlit green and red "NEVADA/ CLUB/ 5(cent)/ the BONUS CLUB" sign, below that is a 4-coin escalator, the backlit payout display next to the lit reels with round indicators, and a pair of ribbed original "beautiful when lit" red backlit panels on either side of the "JENNINGS" marked jackpot, which is topped with a brass icon of the Nevada Club mascot marked "NEVADA CLUB/ LAKE TAHOE RENO". This topper can be removed to reload the jackpot. At the bottom is the payout tray, flanked by a cupholder on the left and a cigarette holder on the right, with removable ashtray marked "RENO/ NEVADA CLUB/ CRYSTAL BAY".

Very good as professionally restored, with some minor wear, showing some light frosting of the nickel and mild handling marks. Mechanism in need of adjustment. All lights in good order.
