Produced circa 1970 by the Sterling Arms Corporation of England for Armalite. Designed by Eugene Stoner, inventor of the AR15/ M-16 family of arms. Though regarded as simpler and more rugged, the AR-18/180 never overtook it's more popular cousin. Adjustable post front and two leaf rear sights, with integral protectors for both with an original Armalite 2.75x20 scope on a quick detach mount. 3-prong flash hider on barrel with English tonnage markings and bayonet lug. Standard receiver markings. Ribbed forearm, smooth "AR-18" pistol grip and folding buttstock, with a black canvas sling. Magazine not included.
