Manufactured in Belgium from 1922 to 1974. Features dovetailed blade front and adjustable v-notch rear sights on a two-piece smooth varnished round pistol grip stock with a 15 groove slide handle, takedown design, 1/2 tubular magazine, hammerless action and smooth steel buttplate. The top of the barrel is marked as follows, "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE-HERSTAL-BELGIQUE/BROWNINGS PATENT DEPOSE", with the caliber designation ".22L" marked on the left side breech, and the serial number stamped on the underside of the barrel. Complete in original factory box hand number to gun.
