The left breech of the barrel is marked with the caliber and proofmarks, followed by the serial number overtop of "MADE IN GERMANY" and "WALTHER (inside logo banner) CARL WALTHER Ulm/Do. Sportwaffenfabrik" on the top of the receiver.
