Description:

This is an excellent example of a commercial AR15 fully automatic rifle that is a copy of the original Colt M16A1 style rifle. This model has the M16A1 style upper receiver with the forward assist on the right hand side of the receiver with the two position flip rear sight that is suitable out to 400 yards with the triangular style smooth black plastic hand guards and smooth black plastic buttstock with the old style trap door in the butt. The interesting and desirable aspect to this rifle is that it has a chrome-moly, medium weight target style barrel very similar in configuration to the ones currently sold by the Armalite company today. This gives the rifle the right amount of "heft" to keep the recoil and muzzle climb to a minimum without too much weight. The left side of the magazine well has the raised rib around the magazine catch and is marked "CAL..223-5.56mm/ MOD.J15/E.A. 6022" and the receiver is marked "E.A. Co./ Kr. Spr LA.". The right side of the magazine well is marked "A.L. LIMITED/WESTMINSTER S.C." . It is complete with one Adventure-Line 30 round magazine and a black nylon sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall with 98% of the black anodized/parkerized finish overall showing wear on the edges and high spots. The stock and hand guards are in very good condition showing the usual nicks dings and scratches from light use and handling. Certainly the rifle appears that it has been fired but looks to be well cared for. This is a fully automatic rifle that has the proper ATF transfer tax stamp. Class III weapon.
