Minneapolis Firearms Protector Palm Pistol

Manufactured from 1891 to 1892. This pistol has a screw on barrel and correctly no rubber pad on the plunger. Each side has a smooth hard rubber panel, with the removable side plate marked "*PATENTED MARCH 6, 1883*" and "THE PROTECTOR / MINN. FIRE ARMS CO." on the reverse. The removable side plate is numbered to a different gun (1955)

ConditionFine as assembled. The pistol retains 75% original nickel finish with some minor frost (mostly on the plunger). Frame has a dent near the removable side plate. The hard rubber is very good with some worn checkering and some light handling marks. Action needs work.
