The saber has a nickel silver pierced guard with rampant lion and shield between the branches. The grip is black grooved hard rubber. The saber has a black painted metal scabbard. 2) German officer's saber, with 31-1/2" curved single fuller blade, acid etched with "In/ Treue/ fest" banner and additional etched decoration. The saber has a nickel finished "D" guard, with red and blue bullion portapee and a wire wrapped celluloid grip. With a black painted metal scabbard.
