Description:

Blade front and "S" marked two-leaf rear sights with Winchester barrel and receiver, Type I barrel band, flat blued bolt, milled trigger guard, checkered pushbutton safety and a "W" marked magazine catch. Smooth high wood stock with two rivet handguard, Ordnance stamp and crisp original "WRA/ GHD" cartouche on the right side, "I" oiler cutout, tan sling and a checkered metal buttplate. This is the 88,435th Winchester M1 carbine produced as serialization began at 1,000,001.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original finish, showing some brown on the front sight and in a few streaks on the receiver, along with some scattered dents and handling marks. The bolt retains 95% plus original blue. Stock is very fine, with scratches and pressure dents overall. Mechanically excellent. An excellent representative M1 carbine!
