Engraved Charles Osborne Double Barrel Hammerless Shotgun

Single bead sight on a concave solid rib marked "CHAS. OSBORNE & CO. LONDON". 2 3/4" chambers, chokes gauge at full and improved cylinder with ejectors. Proofed barrels and water table. Scroll engraved casehardened action marked "CHAS. OSBORNE & CO." on both sides. Scrollwork extends to blued break lever and trigger guard and casehardened forearm hardware. Double trigger with tang safety. Nicely figured checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with tear drop stock flats, buttstock initial plate and solid Kickieez recoil pad. Length of pull is 15".

ConditionRefinished. The barrels retain 95% of the blue finish with some thinning to a brown patina with some scattered minor pitting. The action retains 30% of the case colors (mostly in the protected areas) with the balance a smooth silver gray patina. The wood shows some minor dings and scratches, with some scattered minor bruises in the overall crisp checkering. Break lever is off center, otherwise action functions properly.
