This first year production Colt Ace Model semi-automatic pistol was manufactured in 1931. The left side of the slide has the standard two line address/patent dates marking with the model/caliber markings on the right side. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, with the arched mainspring, trigger, wide hammer, slide catch and thumb safety being checkered. Fitted with checkered grips and furnished with a two-toned magazine. The magazine has the model marking on the bottom.
