Manufactured at Kokura Arsenal. The carbine retains a non-matching dust cover and a clear mum. Inverted "V" front sight with side protectors and ladder rear sight. The left side of the receiver has the serial number along with the Kokura Arsenal cannonball mark and a sub-inspector marks. The carbine is correctly finished with a polished bolt and straw colored trigger. Equipped with a folding bayonet, original cleaning rods and a muzzle cover.

Very fine. The carbine retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown patina (especially on the buttplate) with some mild edge wear. The dust cover has some pin point pitting and is thinning to a gray patina. The stock is fine with a 3/4 inch dent on the comb and a small area of chipping along the grain (right side), along with some minor to moderate pressure marks, dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
