Manufactured at the Koishikawa Arsenal. Clear chrysanthemum on the receiver without a dust cover. Floor plate is numbered "744", front bayonet stud number "930", bolt number "536" and side of receiver "1837536" (mostly assembled). Inverted "V" front sight with guards and rear sight graduated to 2400 meters without anti-aircraft wings.

Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The stock is very fine with some scattered minor dents and some minor dings and scratches (mainly on the buttstock). Mechanically excellent.
