A) Colt Army Special Double Action Revolver

Manufactured in 1920. Blade front and notch rear sights, with the two line address/patent marking on top of the barrel, "COLT ARMY / SPECIAL 38" on the left side, Rampant Colt and "VP" proof on the left side of the frame. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in an oval at the top and "C" around the screw.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 97% original finish with some wear on the muzzle and high edges, some scattered minor scratches and thinning on the backstrap. The grips are very fine with some wear on the bottom edges, over scattered minor dings and crisp checkering. Crisp and clear markings. The action is excellent.

B) Colt Police Positive Target Double Action Revolver

This revolver was manufactured in 1919. Standard markings. Equipped with an elevation adjustable Patridge front and windage adjustable rear sights. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in an oval at the top and "C" around the screw.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 90% plus original finish with wear on the muzzle as well as some finish loss due to a chemical or solvent. High edge wear and thinning on the cylinder and the grip straps are thinning to a smooth plum patina. The grips are excellent with a small chip on the right toe, light handling marks and crisp checkering. Sharp markings. The action is excellent.
