Single edged blade, 10" long with single fullers and no visible makers mark, etched "Mein Ehre heisst Treue" down the left side of the blade. Translated as "My Honor is Loyalty", this marking is also seen on the daggers issued to the Schutzstaffel (SS), who effectively took command of German police and law enforcement during the wartime years. Grips are stag, with the police "wreathed nazi eagle" badge on the right panel, nickel finished oak leaf engraved single quillion guard, languet with eagle design and eagle head pommel with functioning lug slot. With a nickel fitted brown leather sheath and silver and orange portapee with matching solid acorn.
