A) Walther "ac 43" Code P-38 Pistol

Fixed sights, with the inline serial number and code on the left side of the slide, "eagle/359" and "eagle/ swastika" proofs on the appropriate parts. Barrel and locking block numbers re-stamped. Ribbed grips.

ConditionFine, with 70% of the faded original blue finish, showing a gray patina on the front strap, brown patina with spotting on the slide and barrel, bright edge wear and light handling marks. Grips are very good, with a small crack in the rear of the left panel and light scratches. Mechanically excellent.

B) Post-War French Proofed Mauser "svw/ 45" Code P-38 Pistol

Produced after the war at the Mauser factory, under French supervision. Fixed sights, with "svw/ 45" and the French Star proof on the slide, and an Interarms import address added to the underside. The star proof is also on the barrel lug and locking block. Fitted with ribbed metal grips.

ConditionImporter refinished, with 97% of the current blue finish, showing some mild edge wear and handling marks. Grips are fine, with some mild dings and a mixed brown color. Mechanically excellent.
