Description:

This is a Number 37 folding knife fabricated by Ron Lake. Selling his first knife in 1966, Ron Lake has become one of the most sought after knifemakers in the world today, with several of his knives included in the collections of the Smithsonian Institution, the National Metal Museum, the National Knife Museum and the Randall Knife Museum. Lake is the inventor of the modern interframe and his folders have his patented tail lock release tab. He co-authored the book How To Make Folding Knives in 1988. This Lake folding knife has a 3 inch blade marked "LAKE" and "37". Stainless finger groove frame featuring ivory inlays secured to the frame with a single rivet. The left ivory inlay has an exquisite scrimshaw Native American chief portrait and buffalo hunting scene and is signed by renowned schimshander Adam Funmaker. This knife has Lake's signature tail lock release tab. OAL: 7 1/8"

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with the exception of a small patch of minor spotting on the left side of the blade and some scattered minor scratches on the frame.
