Manufactured in 1934. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address/1897 to 1913 patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt, the right side "COLT ACE (in a diamond) 22 LONG / RIFLE" and the serial number is marked on the right side of the frame. Half moon blade front and adjustable rear sights, checkered trigger, mainspring housing, hammer spur, slide catch, magazine release and thumb safety. Fitted with checkered walnut grips and a two tone magazine with the standard Colt Ace caliber marking on the base. Colt manufactured about 11,000 of these pistols before discontinuing it in 1941.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original finish with some wear on the muzzle end of the slide, some high edge wear, minor flaking on the front strap and thinning on the grip safety. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering and a few minor storage dings. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
