Established in the 1930's as a subgroup of the Deutsch Arbeitsfront , Kraft durch Freude (KdF, "Strength through Joy") was a Nazi party-run vacation and leisure service, and would become the largest tourism organization in the world before it was shut down in 1939. Blade and tangent sights, with the caliber and address on the barrel, the KdF symbol on the chamber over "EIGENTUM DES SPORTAMTES" (property of the office for sport), and "Buscher Sportmodell" over "Kraft durch Freude" behind the ejector port. Smooth straight grip stock, with a flat buttplate.

Fine, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing a small amount of brown patina on the receiver and around the muzzle, mild scratches and spotting overall. Stock is refinished and repaired, with a crudely mended chip behind the receiver, pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
