Manufactured in 1931. This pistol features a blade front and an adjustable notch rear sight. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address / patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. The standard model and caliber markings on the right side of the slide. The arched mainspring housing, trigger, wide spur hammer, slide catch, and thumb safety are checkered. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with diamond pattern around the screws and a Colt Ace marked two tone magazine.

Very fine. The pistol retains 70% of the original finish with areas of smooth gray patina on the slide, trigger guard, front strap and grip safety. There are overall scattered minor scratches and scuffs. The checkering has been recut and the replacement Model 1911 grips remain fine with light handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings remain clear. Mechanically excellent.
