This Mauser training rifle is equipped with a blade front sight and adjustable rear sight graduated from 25 to 200 meters. The left rear of the barrel is marked "KAL 22 LANG FUR BUCHSEN", the top of the receiver ring is marked with the Mauser banner and rear is marked "KK- WEHRSPORTGEWEHR / MAUSER - WERKE A.-G. OBERNDORF a./N.". The matching serial number appears on the left rear of the barrel and the receiver at the breech, and on the bolt handle. A "crown / B" and "crown / U" proofmarks are marked on the breech end of the barrel and receiver. Mounted with a one piece round knob pistol grip stock and matching handguard. The cleaning rod is absent and the rifle is complete with an original brown leather sling with diamond pattern.
