"D. H. HILLIARD CORNISH N.H. 1932" marked on the barrel for mid-19th century gunmaker David H. Hilliard of Cornish, New Hampshire. The German silver cheekpiece inlay is inscribed "C.H.W."

Good overall with dark patina, mild oxidation and pitting, resoldered ramrod pipes, moderate wear, and some chips and cracks in the stock. Mechanically functions.

"J. BROWN/FREMONT, N.H. CAST STEEL" marked barrel for John Brown (1806-1895) was a noted gunmaker in Fremont, New Hampshire. Includes a false muzzle.

Fine with refinished barrel, gray and brown patina, mild overall wear, some oxidation, and hairline cracks in the stock. Mechanically fine.
